Crack The Case: STONE COLD

The extended version of the finale of STONE COLD is now posted under the "Video" tab above. Due to the longer length of the episode, the finale event which was originally 2 parts had to be split up into 3 parts online instead. You can watch all three of the parts back-to-back as a playlist on youtube.com as well. Please leave any comments/reactions by clicking on "Comments" under the Production Blog! All other episodes as well as all of the trailers are also posted under the "Video" tab, and sometime in the near future we hope to post a "Blooper Reel" as well.

First off, we would like to thank anyone who has helped us or been a part of the project since its inception last year. It has been a long journey, one filled with many challenges, arguments, rewards, and creativity along the way, but in the end, it was all worth it. We would also like to thank you, the viewers, who tuned in every week during the announcements or gone online every Friday night just to catch up on the latest clue uncovered by the team. We know that it could be easy to zone out during the seven minutes of your day that the daily announcements are being shown, but we appreciated the fact that you took those minutes, and came into the world that we created, no matter how close to yours that world was. For only the second time in the history of the school announcements, we had no televisions shut off during a broadcast of the announcements in ANY classrooms, and we want to thank you again for tuning in, believing in the show, and your willingness to be entertained. We have learned so much during the process, from the time that the idea was thought up as last year's show was winding down, to the last revision that was finally made in the editing room just this afternoon, we can all agree that it was one of the most stressful things we have ever done, but it was all worth it just to hear you talking about it or singing the theme song in the hallways.
This may be the end for "STONE COLD", but it is certainly not the end for us, so stay tuned for new and exciting tricks coming your way. (We still have two years left...!)

Again, we thank you all for watching and hope that you enjoy the conclusion of the story, as the characters are given some closure and as you all are as well, while some new questions may still arise. If there is one thing that you take away from "STONE COLD", it is that no person, no matter their age or the obstacles they face, is ever to small to make a difference, and that when that person works with others as a team, they are invincible in their actions. We'd like to think that we worked together, along with the many talented others that supported us, to overcome any obstacle before us, in order to create something great, and something that you wouldn't believe came from a group of high schoolers. We didn't see any challenge as being too big, or as us students ever being too small to face it. We just don't think that Miles and the team would have been successful that way...

Until Next Time,
Burton Chaikin & Jack Shulruff
Executive Producers

The extended version of the seventh episode of STONE COLD is now posted under the "Video" tab above! In this episode, the group is surprised when they are on the lookout for Dylan, and she finds them before they find her, but there is no time to think too much about that, as Dylan's new information learned while she was captured may just be the clue they need to crack the case. The most important night of their lives is right around the corner and it is time for the STONE COLD team to suit up for their final and most dangerous challenge yet. Please leave comments/reactions in the "Creator's Production Blog"! You can find the previous episodes as well as the premiere and trailers under the "Video" tab also.

The finale will also be posted soon in its full length! For now, you can check out a preview under the "Video" tab above as well.

The extended version of the sixth episode of STONE COLD will be posted tomorrow under the "Video" tab above! In this heart-wrenching episode, with Dylan gone, Ricky and Miles consider their options, and Miles reflects on the reason that has been doing all this in the first place. Please leave comments/reactions in the "Creator's Production Blog"! You can find the previous episodes as well as the premiere and trailers under the "Video" tab also.

The epic 2-part finale event kicks off with Part 1 airing this Friday, May 21st on HPTV, with the team following their most recent clue to where Ventura may be meeting, which could bring them closer to the villain than ever before, meaning danger is lurking behind every turn... But could Walker be as well?

You can check out a trailer for that above this description as well as under the "Video" tab above. Due to some technical difficulties, episode 7 will not be able to be posted at it's full length until this weekend. We apologize for the wait!

Will the team ever rescue Dylan from Ventura? Is Scott Walker really still alive? If so, will the group of supersleuths find him and reunite Seth with his long-lost father? Will Miles ever get the girl of his dreams?

All of these questions and more will be answered as the first of the final three episodes premieres this Wednesday on HPTV and later online, all leading up to the epic and shocking finale. Don't miss a minute of the final chapters as we start heading towards the stunning conclusion, and catch up with all of the previous episodes and adventures by clicking on the "Video" tab above.

Get ready to CRACK THE CASE once and for all...

Due to spring break as well as other circumstances, the second episode of STONE COLD was pushed back until after the break, when new episodes will kick off with double doses (twice a week). Get excited! Meanwhile, catch up with the premiere by clicking the "Video" tab above. Happy Spring!

First off, we just would like to apologize for the delay of the posting of the premiere, but now it is up for all to see with extended footage (the way it was meant to be seen) under the "video" tab above. Please comment with reactions/predictions by clicking on the red "comments" button above this post! Also, we would like to thank everyone for the overwhelming support we had this week leading up to the premiere. All of the kids coming up to us in the hallways, students singing the theme song, and teachers asking us about the project are just little reminders about why we love doing what we do. We hope that you found the premiere as enjoyable and exciting as you were expecting, and just remember that if it was a little confusing on the announcements, to always go online later because the version here will most likely be twice as long and give a little bit more clarification as to what's going on. We are so excited that the show is finally up and running, but please remember that the best is yet to come, so Stay Tuned!

-The STONE COLD Team

Well, we think it's about time we finally show you all a little bit of what we have been working on. Today, the title for the new series "STONE COLD" was finally revealed online, as well as a short teaser trailer for the show online and  soon will be debut on HPTV. Since this is only a "teaser", not many plot details are being explored, however a theatrical trailer should be released in the near future. Right now we are still shooting for a March 5th release date, one month from today. Make comments on this post letting us know what you think of the trailer, and get ready for the debut of the action-packed series next month! Stay Tuned!

3 Days Left! 12/06/2009

It's been a while since I've updated this, but we've been very busy trying to get all of of our shooting done before our deadline. Let's see, where did I last leave off...Last Tuesday, before Thanksgiving, we were filming with the nice folks over at Bluegrass restaurant. They were so accommodating and it was really great to get that feeling of a real restaurant for the final episode... not to mention all of the great food---Special thanks to all of our friends over there. Also, look for a few special appearances from some of our friends returning from college in this episodEverything went pretty smoothly, except for the fact that Rachel got sick so Jack and I were literally rewriting the scene over the phone on the way there. Plus, it rained, so a couple of the exterior shots had to be pushed back. Because of one of our producers/main characters being sick, the holidays, and a few other factors, we ended up having a few extra days off over the break. On Saturday, however, we were back to work at a warehouse in Northbrook, which will actually be posing for a warehouse downtown in the fourth episode of the show. That was a lot of fun and we shot a great action sequence there too, which we added once we saw all of the fun things that we got to play with there---Special thanks to Jack's grandpa for the hook-up over there as well as the awesome BBQ chicken and burgers. We actually also got a nice surprise when we notice the Smashing Pumpkin's recording studio being right next door. Anyway, this past week we were back to HP on Tuesday and when we filmed two flashback sequences around two different houses and on Wednesday when we filmed some last interior house shots with most of the main characters, plus Jack Zamost, reprising his role as Max Moore's character's younger brother in the final episode from the first episode. On Thursday, we were filming in school for the final time...well... try 80 feet under the school! That's right, we were filming in the tunnels under the school and it was hot and scary. For the first time we had both of our main two adults together, and they could not have been more on top of their game along with Dylan for these two awesome scenes you can look for in episode 6. As of now, we have three days worth of filming left to finish, and depending on how the weather is, and how we can fit them into our busy schedules, we will hopefully be wrapped as soon as possible.
